Zululand gardening project sows seeds of hope

Obanjeni organisation imparts skills through gardening project

Proving that all it takes is a seed of faith is the Obanjeni Organisation in Mtunzini.

Under the organisation is the Raising Young Adults Boys Camp initiative, which has implemented a gardening project with fresh produce sold to markets.

The organisation was founded by Sergeant Minenhle Sithole who has dedicated his life to assisting troubled teenagers by being their big brother, father and role model.

With more adolescents turning to crime and substance abuse to cope with peer pressure, the gardening project hopes to refocus attention, with attendees learning how to start and maintain a garden, as well as entrepreneurial skills.

With plans to expand his organisation, Sithole is calling for donations.

Contact Sithole on 076 5379444 or 083 7947232, or email Minenhlestrinc@gmail.com
