Bay litter-strewn beaches in the spotlight
Call to action amid widespread illegal dumping in Richards Bay and surrounding areas
With the culture of illegal dumping and littering a widespread problem across the Zululand region, the ZO’s ‘Tell us where the dirt is’ campaign spotlights dumped rubbish at Richards Bay’s beaches in the hopes of creating a litter-free city.
This call-to-action campaign aims to identify litter-strewn areas and encourages residents, businesses and schools to take responsibility for their rubbish.
Get involved:
Email photos of litter and/or illegal dumping sites in your area, and be sure to include the name of the affected area.
But don’t stop there, send us photos of the same areas after they have been cleaned.
Email all photos and information to wellington@zob.co.za
