WATCH: Passerby killed during cash-in-transit heist

One person has been killed during a cash-in-transit heist in Nzalabantu area in KwaMbonambi this (Tuesday) morning.

The victim is understood to have been an innocent motorist and not one of the CIT personnel.

Dune Road remains closed to traffic in both directions as police comb the scene.

The area remains an active crime scene and motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
