One person was critically injured and another sustained serious injuries when the light motor vehicle in which they were travelling collided with a truck.
The accident occurred just before 10pm on Friday night along the N2 near the R102 exit north of Empangeni.

Reports from the scene indicated that the car went under the truck.
Mounties EMS attended the scene, and stabilised the injured occupants before transporting them to hospital for further medical care.
