While mining company Jindal is moving ahead with its quest to secure environmental authorisation, affected parties, including environmentalists and local farmers, are refusing to back down.
This as All Rise Attorneys for Climate and Environmental Justice scored a recent victory following a directive by the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) for the mine to undertake a new public participation process – further delaying the mine’s efforts to secure environmental authorisation…
