Richards Bay SPCA victim of Facebook hacking
SPCA starting from scratch after Facebook account maliciously hacked, deleted
Richards Bay SPCA urges members of the community to follow their new Facebook page after their previous page was hacked and deleted.
The animal welfare entity came to the horrifying realisation that their account had been maliciously hacked after receiving a notification that the page had been suspended.
This happened when they attempted to publish the latest dogs that are up for adoption.
They are now in the unfortunate position of having to start their Facebook following from scratch and appeal to supporters who had followed their previous page, to like and follow the new one.
