Fuel price hike to come into effect on New Year's Day

Motorists should brace themselves to usher in the new year with a fuel price hike.

As of Wednesday, 1 January 2025, all fuels bar illuminating paraffin will increase.

ULP 95 looks set to increase by 12 cents per litre, ULP 93 to rise by 19 cents per litre, diesel (0.05% sulphur) is set for an increase of 7 cents per litre, while diesel (0.005%) will increase by 10 cents per litre.

LP gas will also be on the rise, by 13 cents per kilogram, while illuminating paraffin – the only fuel set to drop – will decrease by 13 cents per litre.
