A 35-year-old man drowned in the Mhlathuze River on New Year's Day
uMlalazi Mayor Queen Xulu has urged residents, especially children, to desist from swimming in rivers.
This after the drowning of Ndumiso Ngcobo (35) of Mevamhlophe, who drowned in the Mhlathuze River near the defunct Lafarge Mine on New Year’s Day.
