Vandalism was cause of Mzingwenya water woes

The water pipe supplying Mzingwenya community was shot and damaged by unknown perpetrators

Deliberate vandalism of a major water pipe which supplies the Mzingwenya community was the main cause of water woes in the area during Christmas.

According to the City of uMhlathuze, the 330mm pipe in eDiphini area, which supplies water to households, was shot by unknown perpetrators, the loss of precious water leaving taps dry in many households.
