Local farmers pray for more rain

While many count the losses of recent heavy rains, some local farmers are praying for more rain after a dry 2024

Despite damages, recent rains are a welcome relief to Zululand farmers, considering 2024 was one of the driest years on record, but general consensus is that much more is needed.

Just one week into the new year, Zululand Fire Protection officer Tony Roberts’ records for January thus far reflect 60mm of rainfall, compared with 108mm recorded for the whole of January 2024…
