Rain exposes disgrace of government offices in Empangeni

Staff based at the department's Empangeni offices have expressed anger over poor working conditions

Social Development employees based at the department’s Empangeni offices have raised their anger and frustrations over poor working conditions caused by a lack of maintenance on the building in which they work.

They claimed the roof leaks badly, air conditioners don’t work and window blinds are torn, exposing them to the sun while performing their duties.

Some of these employees claim they are now forced to use umbrellas while working inside the office because of the leaking roof…
