Bail granted for five EFF members in public violence case

The bail was granted after three consecutive days of appearances in the Richards Bay Magistrate's Court

The five EFF members charged with public violence, malicious damage to property and assault grievous bodily harm (GBH) were granted bail on Wednesday.

This after three consecutive days of appearances in the Richards Bay Magistrate’s Court.

Mongezi Twala, Sabela Khubisa, Simphiwe Ndlela, Simo Gumede and Vusimuzi Cele handed themselves over to police on Monday morning and were remanded in custody for their bail application…
