One injured in N2 single-vehicle roll-over

Mounties EMS are on the scene of a single-vehicle collision on the N2 southbound carriageway in the vicinity of the eSikhaleni off-ramp.

The accident occurred just after 12.30pm today (Monday).

The driver of the vehicle, who was the only occupant, appears to have lost control while travelling south, breaking through the barriers and careening down the embankment.

The motorist sustained serious but not critical injuries and will be transported to Ngwelezana Hospital after having been stabilised on scene.

While the collision did not obstruct traffic flow on the N2, the emergency lane was obstructed.
