Security boss fights City of uMhlathuze

A security company owner has laid charges against uMhlathuze mayor, acting municipal manager

The Hawks are set to investigate criminal charges laid against City of uMhlathuze Mayor Xolani Ngwezi and acting city manager Phakama Mhlongo.

Security company owner, Cyril Paton claims that after being awarded a tender in May last year, it was terminated over his refusal to subcontract 15% of the scope of his work to a company of the city’s choice.
