One dead in late-night crash on N2
One dead, several injured in accident on N2 outside Empangeni
One person lost their life and multiple others were injured in a collision between a bakkie and a stationary truck on the N2 near Empangeni last night (Thursday).
KwaZulu Private Ambulance, whose paramedics were at the scene, reported that four people sustained serious injuries while another was critically injured.
“The patients were stabilised on scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
“Sadly, one occupant had sustained fatal injuries and passed away before emergency services could reach the scene,” said KwaZulu Private Ambulance.
