Two people were injured in a collision midday today (28 February) when a truck rear-ended a light duty vehicle on the R102 near Forest Inn, then crashed into a tree.
According to reports, three people were on the bakkie and two in the truck.
One bakkie occupant was in critical condition and another seriously injured and both were taken to hospital.
The remaining three passengers were in a stable condition.
It is believed that the men on the truck jumped out the vehicle before the impending collision, ultimately saving themselves from serious injury.
