Free rabies vaccinations on offer in Empangeni

City residents have the opportunity to have their cats and dogs vaccinated against rabies, at no cost.

This as the Empangeni SPCA outreach programme will set up in the grass area opposite the Zululand Observer on Friday,
7 March between 12 noon and 4pm.

Pet owners are reminded that as per city by-laws, all dogs must be licensed and vaccinated.

Licence fees are R116 for unsterilised animals and R46 for sterilised pets.

The SPCA will also offer to insert identification microchips at a cost of R100.
