Serious collisions leave several injured

Multiple people were injured in two separate accidents across the Zululand region on Thursday evening.

The first collision, which involved two vehicles, occurred on the P535 in eSikhaleni, leaving two people seriously injured and two others with minor injuries.

KwaZulu Private Ambulance paramedics treated the patients at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further medical care.

Meanwhile, another three vehicles collided on the N2 near Empangeni, later on Thursday night.

Two occupants sustained serious injuries and were stabilised at the scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment.
