Zululand Hospice book bid and raffle won

Sold to the highest bidder! Springboks' limited edition book bought at Zululand Hospice auction

Charity was the order of the evening on Thursday at the Zululand Hospice Association’s book bid and raffle.

The Back to Back limited edition gem, which celebrates the Springboks’ Rugby World Cup 2023 victory in France, was auctioned and bought by Grantleigh Ferns.

The commemorative book is signed by Vincent Koch, who played prop, as well as TMO (television match official) and Bay resident Marius Jonker.

The raffle was won by Mark Brown, who donated the prize back for re-raffle, and was eventually won by Mauritz Oliphant.

Zululand Hospice thanked the Twilight bowlers at Empangeni Bowls and Tennis Club for making the event possible.
