It’s nearing time to unplug everything for Earth Hour

The City of uMhlathuze is encouraging residents to load shed voluntarily, for the sake of the environment, this Saturday

IN an effort to highlight the urgency to preserve the environment, the City of uMhlathuze is challenging residents to swap their usual evening screen time for an hour under the stars tonight (Saturday).

The ‘Let’s Light up the World without Electricity’ initiative will commence at 8:30pm to 9:30pm.

Celebrated every March, the global event encourages people to switch off all non-essential lights in a bid to address the global climate crisis and the devastating loss of biodiversity.
