Confusion causes multiple crashes at new John Ross robots

With thousands of motorists having habitually travelled the highway over the past decade, the sudden appearance of robots – without road markings or signage - has drivers confused

Although not yet functioning, the presence of new traffic light poles at the Eyamakhosi Truck Stop intersection on the John Ross highway, close to the banana sellers, is causing confusion – and accidents.

In what was not an isolated incident, emergency services were called out on Thursday afternoon as one vehicle was rear-ended by another as a result of sudden braking.
