uMhlathuze Municipality scoops eight awards, more than any other municipality in KZN

uMhlathuze Municipality has scooped more awards than others in KZN and a R1-million cash prize at this year’s KZN Cogta Municipal Excellence Awards.

The local municipality walked away with eight awards for, among others, a clean audit outcome, best Integrated Development Plan (IDP) for 2024/25 and the third-best local economic development strategy.
