Project Rhino needs your vote to secure funding

Non-profit organisation Project Rhino calls for community support to secure international funding to boost anti-poaching efforts

With hopes to intensify the fight against rhino poaching, non-profit organisation Project Rhino is appealing for public votes to help them secure much-needed funding.

This as the local NPO, which protects and preserves the white and black rhino populations of KwaZulu-Natal, has been shortlisted for international funding from the European Outdoor Conservation Association.

They were selected as one of sixteen finalists from hundreds of applications and through a process of public voting, winners will be selected.

“A vote for Project Rhino is a vote for the future of our rhinos.

“Winning the European Outdoor Conservation Association funding would be a lifeline for our conservation efforts, enabling us to intensify our fight against rhino poaching and protect these majestic creatures for generations to come,” said Project Rhino director Carlien Roodt.

There are three categories in which the public is asked to vote – Project Rhino is in the second category.
