Churches join forces in prayer

Four churches are set to join hands in praise and worship at Ngwelezana sports ground for Palm Sunday

Ngwelezana mainline church congregants are invited to come together for a Palm Sunday service in preparation for Easter.

According to Thulasizwe Nxumalo, this will be the second prestigious event of this nature to combine congregants from four churches in praise and worship and proclaiming the word of God.

This holy gathering is set to take place on Sunday at Ngwelezana sports ground from 7am.

“This will be a 90 minute service, then congregations will move to their respective churches to conclude their cultural communion. Your presence will be highly appreciated,” said Nxumalo.

Among the congregations expected to join this prayer gathering are the Roman Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran and Methodist churches.
