Man sentenced to life behind bars after hacking two sisters with a cane knife

Zandile Nhleko welcomed the life sentence handed down to the man she first fell in love with in her late teens, mothered a child for, and who last year mercilessly hacked her with a cane knife, amputating her left hand and leaving her for dead.

Sqiniseko Ndlovu was on Thursday sentenced to life behind bars by the Mtubatuba Regional Court for the ‘heartless’ attack on Zandile.

He was also given 15 years for the attempted murder of Zandile’s sister, Bonisiwe Dlamini, who was left unconscious from the ordeal…
