This facility in Ward 4 under uMfolozi Municipality is overgrown with grass and weeds as it awaits an official handover to the community

One year after being forced to vacate their sports training facility, the youth of KwaSokhulu are still waiting for uMfolozi Municipality to carry out the promised upgrades.

According to former Ward 4 youth committee member, Thulani Hlongwane, the project was supposed to take four months to complete, starting in August 2023.

However, the facility has not been officially handed back to the community, and there has been no communication regarding reasons for the delays…
