Multiple people injured in separate crashes near Empangeni

Eight people were injured when a vehicle they were travelling in overturned on the B10 road near Empangeni this (Saturday) morning.

The vehicle was transporting the passengers home when the driver reportedly lost control.

KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service paramedics treated two patients with serious injuries and a further six patients with minor injuries.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident on Friday night, two vehicles collided on the Western Bypass near Empangeni.

Paramedics treated two people who sustained serious injuries and one person with minor injuries.

They were transported to nearby hospitals for further care and treatment.
