National drivers speed to Richards Bay oval track

Race aces will be battling for the chequered flag in Richards Bay

On Sunday, 27 April the first leg of the National Hotrod Tour will roar to the ZCBF showgrounds in Richards Bay.

Action will be fierce as local race aces Jason Loosemore and Neville Loosemore will be taking on the likes of Keogan Maartens, Chris Landsberg, Andre Johnson and Edwin van Niekerk, to name but a few of the hot competitors who will be battling for the chequered flag on the day.

The V8 Flexi team also start the first leg of their tour, and CJ Bitzer, Allan Booysen, Kevin Ralph and Pieter van der Merwe are some of the names that will be racing in the Bay.

Support classes will include the ¼ Midgets, Ninja Midgets, Stockrods, 1660 Saloons, 2l hotrods and 2.1 Modifieds.

Gates open at 9am and racing starts at 6pm, with qualifying at 4.30pm.

Entry for adults is R120 and children R50 (6-12 years).
