Empangeni Ward 23 to host public meeting

Electricity, roads and water-related issues to be discussed at community meeting in Empangeni

Councillor Andre de Lange has organised a Ward 23 public meeting this Thursday (15 May) from 6pm to 8pm at the Empangeni SME One Stop Shop at 44 Turnbull street (the auditorium next to the Empangeni Museum).

Residents are encouraged to voice their concerns to the City of uMhlathuze officials in attendance.

This is nine months since the last public meeting for Ward 23 in August 2024.

Items on this week’s agenda include electricity, potholes, streetlights, burst water pipes, stormwater drainage, sewerage, town cleaning, grass and tree cutting, law enforcement, traffic, waste management and road painting.
