Fitness fanatics to gather in King Cetshwayo District

Fitness enthusiasts across the province will head to the 2025 Mega Moves District Aerobics Battle scheduled for 4 October in King Cetshwayo District Municipality.

The third edition of this dynamic event promotes health, wellness, and community engagement.

Speaking to Eyethu Bay Watch, the KZN Department of Sport, Arts and Culture sport promotion and development coordinator, Hypercia Mntungwa, said the event is a platform for fitness enthusiasts to showcase their talent while fostering a culture of healthy living.

“Mega Moves District Aerobics Battle is a high-energy fitness competition that brings together 600 participants, including athletes, local organising committee members, qualified instructors, and certified judges from 11 districts across the province,” said Mntungwa.

Representatives will come from King Cetshwayo, uMkhanyakude, iLembe, uGu, eThekwini, Zululand, Amajuba, uMzinyathi, Harry Gwala, uThukela and uMgungundlovu districts.
