KZN premier urges traditional healers to stop aiding criminals

Premier Thami Ntuli calls on traditional healers to stop supplying muthi to criminals and support law enforcement

KZN Premier Thami Ntuli has urged traditional healers to stop supplying muthi and amaBhande to criminals, enabling them to evade justice or feel invincible.

Ntuli made this plea at a dialogue with Amajuba District Traditional Health Practitioners on Tuesday.

This impactful gathering took place at the Osizweni community hall in Newcastle, as part of a concerted effort to strengthen community safety and uphold the rule of law.

The dialogue is hosted by the premier in his capacity as the executive authority of the Department of Community Safety and Liaison, and is attended by Amajuba District Traditional Health Practitioners (THP), law enforcement agencies, and the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster.
