What advice would you give the 16-year-old you?

Share your pearls of wisdom and the valuable lessons you have learnt over the years for the ZO's 'Dear 16-year-old me' feature...

With age comes experience and, most importantly, wisdom.

As we grow older, we tend to reflect on what the younger versions of ourselves would think of where we ended up – and what we endured along the way.

In light of Youth Month in June, the Zululand Observer wants to hear your stories as part of its ‘Dear 16-year-old me’ feature.

This is an opportunity for the seasoned generation to share their pearls of wisdom; from their dreams to the lessons they learnt the hard way, or a word of encouragement for today’s youth.

Criteria:

• Your letter must start with “Dear 16-year-old me…”
• Must include your first name, age, and area
• Send us a photo of your youthful self (optional)
Send your letters to zulobs@zob.co.za or WhatsApp 060 7842695
