17-year-old schoolgirl's brutalised body discovered in bushes near Hluhluwe

Despite ongoing calls to end gender-based violence (GBV), women in Zululand continue to be terrorised, with a schoolgirl (17) the latest victim.

Andile Nkosi, a Grade 11 pupil at KwaGiba High School in KwaMduku near Hluhluwe, went missing on Saturday evening after an altercation with her ex-boyfriend.

After failing to find her that night, her friends discovered her brutalised body in the bushes on Sunday morning – her throat slit and middle finger chopped off…
