One person was killed and three others were seriously injured in a collision on the R66 near Madaka area in the early hours of this (Saturday) morning.
The accident was between a light motor vehicle and an NP200 bakkie.
According to reports at the scene, one of the vehicles was travelling from Ulundi to Nongoma when the head-on collision occurred shortly after 2am.
Sadly, one person lost their lives, a 25 year old male.
Three others sustained serious injuries. The accident scene was cleared at 8am this morning.
