Countdown on for tourism investment forum hosted by City of uMhlathuze

Zululand region's beauty and potential to be on full display as City of uMhlathuze hosts international tourism investment forum

It is less than 30 days to go until the City of uMhlathuze hosts the international Tourism Investment Forum Africa (TIFA) 2025.

This is the first time KZN is hosting this prestigious conference, which is expected to position the region as an investment and business events destination.

Themed Tourism and Infrastructure Investment Driving Economic Transformation and Enhancing Community Well-being, the conference is being hosted at Thembela Venue along the N2 outside Empangeni from27 to 29 August. Some 200 delegates and dignitaries, investors, developers, corporates and tourism stakeholders from Africa and beyond will attend.

To ensure the delegates experience the full extent of the region’s beauty and potential, City of uMhlathuze municipal manager Phakama Mhlongo said they are creating an impactful programme.

“It is not only a significant milestone, but also a declaration of intent to host a prominent investment conference of this size in KwaZulu-Natal for the first time. We hope to give each of our visitors a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the beauty and spirit of uMhlathuze,” said Mhlongo
