City of uMhlathuze announces planned power outage
Planned power outage to affect Richards Bay next week
Richards Bay Eco Junction customers are notified of a maintenance-related electricity outage for the John Ross Switching Station on Wednesday, 27 August.
The outage will be from 8am to 4pm, and affected customers include Eco Junction businesses and the petrol station, Melomed Hospital, the John Ross intersection traffic lights, and the whole of John Ross area.
The city urged residents to treat electrical installations as live at all times, as electricity would be restored as soon as the work is complete.
