Beware fake foreign job offers on social media, warns government

Government's International Relations department warns against falling victim to unverified foreign job offers.

The Department of International Relations and Cooperation (Dirco) has warned young people not to fall for unverified foreign job offers.

This as influencers increasingly promote such offers on social media.

Dirco said young people, especially women, should be careful of foreign job offers shared on TikTok, Instagram and other social media platforms.

Always double-check before committing, as not all are real. Safety comes first.
