Support Thuthukani Special School by buying Casual day stickers at their selling spots in Empangeni and Mtunzini on Friday, 5 September
Casual day is on Friday, 5 September, in support of disability.
Thuthukani Special School, which has over 400 children with a range of intellectual and physical disabilities, will sell casual day stickers in Empangeni and Mtunzini.
Each sticker costs R20 and the sticker selling teams will be at three areas on Friday, 5 September, morning from 10am to 1pm:
Find their teams:
1. Outside Checkers and Pick ‘n Pay shop entrances at Empangeni Shopping Centre.
2. Queen Nandi Regional Hospital outpatient waiting area
3. Mtunzini’s Kingfisher square parking lot
A portion of sticker sales proceeds will go towards TSS learners.
“We are hoping to use the proceeds to sponsor learners’ school fees who cannot afford them,” shared TSS principal Marthie Combrinck.
Casual Day, observed on Friday, 5 September, is South Africa’s leading fundraising and awareness campaign for persons with disabilities, and is the flagship project of the National Council of and for Persons with Disabilities.
