KZN transport department looks to fill 350 vacancies

Several opportunities available for job seekers across KZN as Department of Transport advertises vacancies

More than 300 job opportunities have been unveiled within the Department of Transport in KZN.

The department seeks to fill a total of 350 vacancies in various parts of the province, with several opportunities available for admin clerks, provincial inspectors, and technicians – among others.

Vacancies are open in several districts, including King Cetshwayo, uMkhanyakude and iLembe.

Transport MEC Siboniso Duma said the recruitment drive is to ensure a constant supply of skilled, capable graduates and experienced professionals.

“We are constructing new roads, bridges, and maintaining and repairing more than 54 000km of road networks across all corners of the province,” said Duma.

“We are responsible for the overall management of the public transport system and ensuring KwaZulu-Natal becomes a prosperous province and a gateway to Africa and the world.

“We want to ensure the safety of motorists and grow other sub-sectors of the transport industry, such as rail, aviation and maritime.”

Applications are open until 29 September. Click the link for more information: https://bit.ly/3Vf17Oz
