Richards Bay kindness charity calls for donations

Richards Bay agent for change calls for donations to support the needs of a safe haven for 40 children

An advocate for community empowerment and personal development, Professor Rose Reddy – founder of The Rose Kindness Foundation – campaigns for kindess daily.

This Richards Bay agent for change encourages people to pay acts of kindness forward to impact as many lives as possible.

She has been championing her kindness projects for years, publishing her first book Make Kindness the Norm in 2022 followed by The Searcherdemics Odyssey in 2024.

This shares stories of people who have served communities selflessly and brought about social change.

Prof Reddy holds many leadership positions including department head at Richards Bay Primary School, co-host of an online talk show Pastors for Civility, and vice chancellor and online professor at the United Graduate College and Seminary International.

Through her Kindness Foundation – a community-driven group that improves the lives of vulnerable children – she supports charities that help abused women and children, unwed mothers, the homeless, and those battling abuse and addiction.

She is currently working on a project to support the needs of Bonanisani Daycare and Early Childhood Development, a safe haven for 40 children who have lost parental care and rely entirely on community support.

Donations are needed for nutritious food, clean drinking water, school supplies, bedding, personal hygiene products, educational and recreational resources, seeds and fertiliser for veggie garden.

Anyone who wants to support or find out more can contact Rose Reddy on 072 4718615.
