Grantleigh pianist takes the stage with top SA orchestra

Grantleigh pupil delivers stellar performance alongside the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra

Grantleigh Grade 11 pupil Kaylin Reddy achieved a remarkable milestone last Saturday, performing among some of South Africa’s most gifted young musicians at the Young Performers’ Concert, organised by the South African Society of Music Teachers.

The prestigious event, held at The Playhouse theatre in Durban, featured Kaylin performing alongside the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra – one of South Africa’s premier professional orchestras – under the baton of the acclaimed Chad Hendricks.

Kaylin, who has been at Grantleigh since pre-school, has consistently embraced the many opportunities available to him, developing into a talented and passionate musician.
