Planned Eskom system downtime to affect prepaid customers

Eskom prepaid customers will be unable to purchase electricity for eight hours on Thursday due to maintenance

Eskom has announced a planned downtime for its online vending system, which will affect prepaid electricity customers.

The maintenance is aimed at improving service delivery.

The power utility said the system will be unavailable for eight hours on Thursday, 6 November, from 10pm to 6am the following day.

“During this time, customers will not be able to buy electricity. We encourage customers to purchase electricity in advance of the scheduled downtime,” Eskom advised.
