From the NFP to the AMC

Political move for former NFP provincial secretary Nokwanda Mdunge

Nokwanda Mdunge, the former NFP provincial secretary, has found a new political home with the African Movement Congress (AMC).

She served in the role as provincial secretary at a critical period when political tensions and killings were at their peak.

“It was a time that demanded courage, leadership and resilience. However, ongoing internal leadership battles hindered our true purpose as politicians to campaign, win elections and serve our people.”

She said she’s honoured to have found a new political home, in the role of national leader in the Presidency where she can fulfil her mission to serve the people. She also serves as a volunteer in the local uMhlathuze constituency.

“Our mission is clear: to render basic services to the community. We stand firm in giving a voice to small businesses that have been stripped of opportunities, and in reviving agribusiness as a key driver of job creation.

“Women and children remain at the core of our movement. We are committed to restoring unity and stability among all sectors between farmers and our communities, between those who seek development and those who have lost faith in government structures,” she said.
