Motorists urged to exercise caution as wet weather persists

No critical injuries were reported

MOTORISTS are urged to drive with extra care as wet and misty conditions continue across the region.

This comes after a two-vehicle accident occurred on the R66 near the Nxumalo Livestock Farm in uMlalazi on Sunday (today) morning.

No critical injuries were reported.

The uMlalazi Municipality Traffic Department warned that heavy rainfall over the past 12 hours has left roads extremely slippery.

“Motorists are urged to remain vigilant and apply extra caution, particularly as misty conditions continue to affect visibility in the area,” the municipality said.
