For this estimate, costs are based on a light vehicle travelling from the Richards Bay area, using an average fuel consumption of 7 litres per 100km.
Distances are approximate, and the aim is to give motorists a practical planning tool rather than exact figures.
Coastal fuel prices for November place unleaded 95 petrol at R20.29/litre, while diesel (0.05%) sits at R18.30/litre. Toll tariffs reflect the South African National Roads Agency’s (Sanral) most recent increases.
