All grant beneficiaries will receive their December payments during the first week of the month.

This was announced by the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) on confirming the twelfth round of grant payment dates recently.

The agency further reminds beneficiaries not to rush to collect all their funds on payment day, as the money will remain in their accounts until it is needed.

December grants and dates

Old Age Grant: Tuesday, 2 December
Disability Grant: Wednesday, 3 December
Child grants: Thursday, 4 December

Old Age (60–74) and Disability grants — R2 315
Old Age (75+) — R2 335
War Veterans — R2 315
Care Dependency — R2 315
Child Support — R560
Foster Care — R1 250
SRD — R370
