Community Christmas carnival market set for Saturday in Empangeni

Empangeni’s Christmas carnival market this Saturday, with 30+ vendors, festive shopping and the SPCA selling its 2026 desktop calendars.

A festive day out awaits Empangeni residents as the community Christmas carnival market takes place this Saturday, 6 December.

The market will run from 10am to 4pm at 6 Nkwanazi Street, behind the museum, and promises a vibrant mix of stalls, food and festive shopping for all ages.

With more than 30 vendors confirmed, visitors can browse a wide range of items — making it the perfect place to kick-start seasonal shopping.

Among the stalls on the day will be the Empangeni SPCA, which will be selling its 2026 desktop calendars.

Proceeds from calendar sales will help support the organisation’s crucial animal welfare work in the community.

Residents are encouraged to join in, enjoy the festive atmosphere and support local vendors at this popular event.
