Izulu Orphan Projects counts down to Christmas party for 280 children

Izulu Orphan Projects prepares for its annual Christmas celebration, appeals for final donations to support 280 children and their dedicated carers.

The countdown has began for Izulu Orphan Projects’ Christmas party on Saturday, 13 December.

The NPO, based in the Ncekwane reserve, Empangeni, looks forward to the day of celebrating the 280 children and their 120 devoted carers.

Gratitude has been given for all donations thus far, but important items are still needed to make the party a success.

“This event is always a reminder that the true spirit of Christmas shines brightest when we come together to uplift and support one another,” said the NPO.

“Your generosity is changing lives and creating opportunities. We will always be grateful for your support.”

The Christmas wish list includes:

· 250 x 3 quire books
· 20 scientific calculators
· 400 party packs
· 800 hotdog rolls
· 15l tomato sauce
· 400 juices
· 400 brown bags to hold hotdogs
· School uniforms: R67 000 for 100 pupils
· Tertiary student education fund: R40 000 per month
