2 injured after van load comes loose on R102

Two people injured in R102 incident near Empangeni

Two occupants of a delivery van sustained minor to moderate injuries after part of the vehicle’s load came loose and struck them while the vehicle was in motion on the R102 towards Empangeni.

The incident resulted in one lane in the Empangeni-bound direction being obstructed.

Emergency services are on scene monitoring the situation, while the injured occupants are receiving medical attention from KwaZulu-Natal EMS paramedics.
