ONE person sustained serious injuries while another was moderately injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling lost control and overturned on the N2 this (Tuesday) morning.

The accident occurred at the KwaMbonambi off-ramp on the northbound carriageway, at about 8.30am.

According to reports from the scene, the light delivery vehicle was travelling south when it lost control and overturned, coming to rest on the northbound carriageway.

Emergency services arrived promptly at the scene, using the emergency lanes to keep traffic flowing.

KZN Emergency Medical Services (EMS) paramedics treated the injured on scene before transporting them to hospital for further medical care.
